ANNOUNCEMENTS
Science projects done by our students during the year will be displayed on 24th of may in our school garden at 05:00 p.m.
On 15th of may at 11:00 p.m. TED İstanbul College Presentation days will be held.
Our traditional art exhibition will be on 13th and 14th of may at 04:00 p.m. in exhibition hall next to the Yılmaz Güney Cinema.
First graders lunch time activities have started.
SBS work groups and days are determined.

1st graders' reading feast fascinated everybody.
  Ted Batman College students organized a street ball tournament, Parents and students are interedted immensely.

8-A and 8-B had an English Debate abaout "Education at home or at School" 8-A defended the idea of education at home and 8-B defended education at school. Although both of the groups were very well prepared. 8-A won it. The participants from 8-A were Şeyma GÜNDOĞDU, Osman GÜNAYDIN, Göksu GÜRE and Fırat GÖZETİR. 8-B participants were Deniz AKYILDIZ,Elif ARIKAN, Rohat TÜZÜN, Zozan ÖZDEMİR and Arda AKIN.

The students of 2-A commented on "symetry" with a different point of view in maths class. The students completed their works with a big desire and excitement.
1-A, 1-B and 2-A classes joined fire brigade trip. Serhat RAMANLI, Petroleum Corperation Civil Defence Supervisor and also one of our parents and fire brigade workers informed our students abaut how to intermeddle a fire, how to rescue a man jammed in a vehicle, the first intervention to the fire place and the transportation of the injured ones to the ambulance. We thank them.

Access Project is a social project which gives an opportunity for 9th Grade students who are talented in learning English but can’t afford to take up extra English courses.Access social project aims to high up students’ communication skills to an outstanding level.

Access Social Project is run by Ted Schools and American Embassy together. 9th Grade students showed a remarkable interest this year.Ted schools evaluated the applications and and those who are suitable taken to an assessment exam.30 students from 10 different Anatolian High Schools started their first lesson on 15 March 2011.

The course will last until 15th June 2011. It is held twice a week on Friday and Sundays. All the expenditures of students are free of charge.

Our teachers joined a comunication seminar. An in-service training abaout "communication" was organized for our teachers on 26th of March,2011. At this seminar by Dr. Demet ANKI ERKEN;teacher, family and student communication was the emphasized subject.

Motivation in Education SeminarOrganized by TED Batman College and the Director of Turkish Ministry of Education, "Motivation in Education Seminar" was held by in Batman University and Culture Center. More than 860 teachers and adminitrators attended the seminar which was presented by Prof. Dr. Selahiddin ÖĞÜLMÜŞ and Doç. Dr. Cem BABADOĞAN from Ankara University. In their speech, governor of Batman Province and director of Turkish Education thanked to TEDCollege for its contribution to Batman's education. The participants enjoyed the seminar and stated their supports for upcoming programmes of Ted College.
